We’re excited to announce, shout about and generally make a big thing of it, that we’re working with Brogdale Collections in Faversham.
We’re taking care of their website news and blogs, sending PR to media and getting them some coverage, plus their social media too.
It’s home to the National Fruit Collection, which from a botanical and scientific point of view, is managed by Reading University, but Brogdale oversees the tourism ad visitor side.
There are more than 4,000 varieties of fruit trees there – which means that should anything happen to a particular specimen elsewhere, if it’s in the collection, there is a ‘master copy’!
They do all sorts there and although we only started the account at the start of March, we are quickly realising that finding content won’t be hard – because there is something for everyone and they have loads going on!
Plus…it’s very affordable on their annual Orchard Pass – which means you pay once and get in all year round (events tickets can be booked on top).
Families:
Events for Easter, summer, Christmas, open air cinema, orchard walks, world music garden and wildlife everywhere!
Business:
Corporate team building days, meeting rooms, sponsorship opportunities, volunteering opportunities.
Learning:
They have courses on all sorts, for children and adults; outdoor cookery, willow weaving, a monthly gardening club, bee walks, foraging walks, cider making, wine making, chicken keeping and pruning.
Parties, weddings and events:
It’s a beautiful venue for an event, whether it’s for business or pleasure, with everything provided or you can hire the venue and self-cater.
We were approached by another PR colleague who was looking for someone trusted to take over the reins because they were slimming down their workload and wanting to head off to Devon for the summer…which is Brogdale’s busiest time!
Take a look to see what they have for you this year:
