A carers’ recruitment event is being held in Thanet next month.
Caremark is inviting people to its HQ and training site, to find out about a career in care, whether it be a return to care, a new job in care or a first job in care.
They are particularly keen to recruit carers for end of life care and to work with others in doubles teams with customers who need two carers to support them.
The event is designed to give people an idea of the job roles available, types of customers they look after and more about the company. Guests will get to look around Caremark’s new training facilities, meet the training manager, meet other carers, chat to customers and their families, plus find out about career progression and opportunities.
Job interviews will also be held in the afternoon if people would like to get the ball rolling. Places should be booked for the event, which is on Thursday 1st September from 11am – 2pm at their premises on Westwood Industrial Estate, Margate. It’s intended that people will stay for the full session, with all refreshments including a light lunch provided.
