They say don’t mix business with pleasure, but a party held to celebrate the third birthday of a Dartford business ignored those words of wisdom.
Quartz Financial Services was started by Melinda Bush three years ago after she left her job as a mortgage advisor for one of the big banks in London.
Networking and advertising helped build her client base and on Saturday she said thanks to the clients who she has helped to arrange mortgage, life insurance, business insurance and equity release for, with a family fun afternoon.
The afternoon began with a children’s lunch, face-painting and bouncy castle, before an entertainer wowed them with magic tricks, singing, dancing and balloon modelling, whilst the grown-ups enjoyed their lunch, a raffle and the chance to catch-up with Melinda.
She said: “I wanted to thank my clients in a way they would enjoy and remember, and the afternoon family party was perfect.
“I had the chance to catch-up with them, find out what they’ve been doing and of course, make sure they have the financial cover and products they need as their lives progress.
“It was lovely to see them all, meet their children and have them enjoying an afternoon with me.”
