One of my clients, Quartz Financial Services, has won a Keep it in Kent Award.
I have worked with Melinda Bush, the firm’s director for around a year now and late last year, wrote and submitted an entry for her company for services to financial consultancy in Kent.
The awards aim to highlight the best of the county’s businesses who try to use Kentish suppliers and trade with local businesses.
In Quartz’s entry, I highlighted the company’s use of local services for an event it had, where all suppliers used were local to Dartford, where they are based.
In running her business, Melinda makes a conscious decision to support local businesses and regularly attends various Kent networking to meet and make connections with other local businesses, further strengthening the Kent business community around her.
In addition to winning the award, which will be presented to her on February 4th an at event in Hythe, she can also win a Gold Award on the night.
This relies on the public voting for the business they think should win from the 13 category winners.
