We’re always looking for ways to support our fantastic charity of the year, Holding on Letting Go (HOLG), particularly as like so many charities, it’s been hit hard by the pandemic. So, we are delighted to be sponsoring the February date of their monthly virtual Speed Quiz night, alongside our long-time design partner, Mivvy Creative.
Between us we have covered all of the charity’s costs, so proceeds from ticket sales and the raffle will be pure profit for them!
Take part in this fun family night in, at 7.30pm on Friday February 12th and you could not only raise funds for HOLG but also win a fantastic prize!
Raffle prizes are:
A wine hamper from henry’s Wine worth £100.
A 3-month subscription for Wild and Bloom (flowers through your letterbox) from Hawk Surveying
A Terrarium kit from Studio H.O.I.M.E
A glass heart ornament from Charlie Noel Glass
A £50 fitness voucher for online fitness classes with Emma Fitness
A beautiful, hand-crafted silver leaf necklace from Silverwood Handmade Jewellery
A £50 travel voucher from Travel Counsellors
A £30 cake voucher from The Egg Free Cake Box
A computer healthcheck and fix from IT Systems
…with more to be announced!
And – because Izzy and Mivvy like a bit of fun, we’ll see who has the brainiest friends and colleagues on the night by asking you to choose which side you’re on!
The quizzes are suitable for individuals and teams. The speed element adds a little more excitement and challenge for even the most avid quizzers! Once you’ve booked your tickets, simply download the free Speedquizzing Live app, and make sure you have two devices to hand – one to see the Zoom screen and hear and see the questions, and the other to input your answers into the app.
Don’t worry, you’ll be sent clear instructions. It’s very simple to use and you’ll get a few ‘trial goes’ to test it first.
ABOUT HOLG
As many of you know, Izzy PR has worked with HOLG for some time now. HOLG undertakes vital work across Kent supporting bereaved children and their families. Unfortunately, like many charities, the pandemic has had a huge impact on their fundraising. This quiz nights aim to help plug at least a little of the funding gap while also providing some much-needed entertainment during lockdown.
HOLG fundraising Officer Pam Meller said: “The autumn ones we held were a real hit, and with the restrictions and weather putting us off going out, our monthly quiz nights are perfect.
“People can stay at home in the warm on their settee, but still see friends and family for the Zoom quiz and play against them and others who join us!”
The quiz night is £20 per team of 4+ to enter, or £5 each player if there are between 1-3 in the team.
Raffle tickets are £5 each.
The quiz starts at 7.30pm and you can book here.
Raffle tickets are also available on the same booking link!
