If you’re a Kent Chamber member, there’s a good chance that like many, you’re not making the most of your membership – and are potentially missing out on some free exposure.
All members have the opportunity to appear for free, in the Chamber’s magazine
Thinking Business.
Thinking Business is sent in the post to all members, to their inbox too and is also available to read on the Chamber website if you’re not a member.
So it’s a fantastic way to showcase your business to other Chamber members who might need your products or services, be able to recommend you or who may want to approach you for collaboration.
However, from talking to many members, the magazine staff and Chamber reps, we found out that many haven’t yet completed their profile and sent it in – which is a shame because of the exposure it gives you to the rest of the members.
When you join, you are invited to send a 250-word profile piece with a photo to showcase your business – but many don’t, for a number of reasons:
- Didn’t know I could send one
- Keep forgetting
- Don’t know what to write
- Don’t know how to write it
- Can’t get it all written in 250 words
- Don’t have someone who can do it
- Don’t have time
If you’re not in the writing business like we are, then the profile piece could feel like a huge task which is why we have launched a service to help fellow Chamber members – new and old, because there will be many members who have never taken up the free profile.
We will take care of it for you – for just £100.

PR & marketing so we can get this done for you, off your list plus help you to use a great feature of being a Chamber member!
What do I have to do?
All you will have to do is tell us a bit about your business and answer a few questions via a short call, let us write it for you, check it over, allow us to make any changes, then sign it off once we’ve made them.
If you have an image, we’ll check it for quality or if not, we’ll find a good one to send straight to the Chamber for you with the finalised piece.
And finally…My Business Listing
Is your listing complete on the Chamber website?
It’s best to be completed, so that when people search for your products / services, they can find out all they need to about you, what you do, click through to your website or find you on social media.
They might even want to send you an email or pick up the phone – but if they can’t find out enough about you, they might move onto someone else and we don’t want that to happen.
We can also take care of this for you:
£25 extra if you are already booking the profile piece with us (Total = £125)
£45 if you would just like this completed for you without the profile piece (Total = £45)
We can send it to you to upload or upload it all for you.
