We were invited by the South East London Chamber of Commerce (SELCC) to present a webinar for their membership, giving them information on target audience and key messages.
We’ve recently become members so it was good to be able to share some useful marketing information to fellow members and guests who had signed up for the webinar, hosted on Wednesday 22nd February.
When we first work with clients, this is the first thing we do with them – because for marketing to be effective, you need to know who is buying your products/services, who else could buy it and why they buy – target audience.
Within this section, we covered the difference between B2B target audiences and B2C target audiences.
You then need to think about what to say to them (key messages) that let them know about your product/services that resonate with them to lead them into an enquiry or purchase.
You are likely to say different things to different audience groups – even if they use the same product!
