It was nine months in the making but a three-hour book launch in London was a huge success this week.
We teamed up with Jodi Eeles at Floresco Communications, to plan and execute the event for SimplyHormones’ book launch for ‘How to Survive Menopause Without Losing Your Mind’.
Without professional help, many people feel they too would lose their mind organising a event, but that’s what the event organisers are for!
We had a London venue that needed to be liaised with, dressed, checked and double-checked, then a guest list to organise, media to invite, merchandise thought of, room layout planned, guest welcome prepared, goody bags thought of, branding created, photography, video and a running order to arrange.
When you go to an event, it all looks very smooth – but unless you’ve actually organised one, you’ll not know the level of find detail, planning, contingency thinking and effort that goes into them.
And that’s what we give our clients – an event that runs smoothly, with small hiccups (and you ALWAYS get them!) along the way spotted ad rectified without guests or the client knowing.
It was great to be working with Floresco again!
